Our dear friend Crackers (aka Kitters, Crack-Attack, etc.) had to be put to sleep on Wednesday April 21st 2010. :( What a horriblly sad thing! He was diagnosed in December with FIP, I can't remember what it stands for exactly but it is a terminal cat illness. We had never heard of it but the vet said it is every cat owners worst nightmare and she was very sorry for us ( she said they usually only live 6 wks -6months after being diagnosed and there is no real treatment). So we've had Kitters on prednisone steroids for the past five months to slow the progression of the disease and help keep him comfortable. The last few weeks he had really started to digress and Dave and I couldn't stand to watch him suffer any more. It was so sad. I never thought I would cry over a cat-- especially that cat ( he and I had a very obvious love-hate relationship, he loved Dave and the kids and hated it when I touched him). I was mostly so sad for Dave and Jax kitters was their baby! They cuddled and were such sweet friends. Crackers was five and a half and has been part of our family since Jax was only one yr old. Dave took him to the vet to be put down while I took Jax to swim team. I still feel guilty for sending Dave alone. I probably should have done it, I wasn't nearly as attached as he was.

Eva's Princess Party
Bridget and Charity chillin' on the swing. (Bridget's wearing one of the tu-tu's I made. They were pink and brown and turned out really cute.)
The dollys getting ready for cake at their table.
Jax showing his approval of the cake. He especially liked the Flag.
Savanah, Alexus, Kaitlyn and Staci (sisters that came dressed matching as Aerial cute!) after their makeovers.
All the lovely dollys after their makeovers and tiaras. Eva's Dolly, Lilly is on the right end they had cute matching dresses on but I guess I didn't get a pic of them together.
The sash was too big and kept falling off so she held it for the pic and promptly took it off to go play.
Kaitlyn, Staci, Charity and Savanah getting ready to make bracelets .
The CASTLE CAKE! (This was the most time consuming part of the entire birthday) It didn't turn out exactly perfect for several reasons but the saddest one to me was the purple flowers- the one on the left side of the front door is made of fondant and I had planned to do them all that way but while I was putting that one flower on Carter put the entire ball of purple fondant in his mouth and ate it. (I could have cried) so the rest of the purple flowers were makeshift because out of frosting because there wasn't time to go to Wal-mart and get more fondant. I was still pleased with the end product Eva and the girls loved it and I'm very glad it's over :)
The first wave of ladies to be "made over" Alexandria, Lynzi, Charity, Eva and Jenna
Eva getting ready to place her star. (On the wrists in the background you can see the bracelets they made)
The first wave of Ladies waiting for the others friends to arrive. Aren't they beautiful?!
Eva anxiously waiting for all her cousins and friends to come play! ( She loved this door decoration and we ended up leaving it up all weekend for her)
The Princess in her birthday dress with her just-barely-finished-in-the knick-of-time-castle. Dave walking through the background (he took the boys and the dog and they had a guy-day full of parks, soda and The Monster Truck Rally)
On Saturday Eva had her first "friend's" party. We did a dolly princess/ballerina motif. It was super fun. I made each girl a tutu to wear (they all came dressed so fancy though that most of them just kept it in the bag to wear at home) and we made a huge princess castle cake and decorated in pink pink pink. She invited 10 cousins and friends and they all came dressed for the occasion, bringing their dolly's to share in the fun. When the princesses arrived they first visited the makeover table where they got tiara's lipstick blush and tutu's. Then we made bracelets and played pin the star on the wand and danced our hearts out with the cake walk. She then opened presents and we all ate castle cake and ice cream. What a fun princess party! She had so much fun with all her dear friends and cousins. We are sooo very blessed to have such sweet wonderful friends and family all around us. Thank you to Mommers and Tiffany Rimington for staying to help out during the party and to everyone who came to support Eva on her big day!

Evy Pic's
Her new Dolly that looks like her! (that's all she wanted)
Blowing out the candles with the family ( she blew them out again on Saturday at her friends party on the CASTLE cake!)
I love love love this one! Totally Spontaneous. Just sweet friends!
For some reason I couldn't post pic's with all the writing, so here are a few ( I only did a couple because the uploading wasn't working very well. I tried it like 6 different times) immediately after the piercing (still not quite sure what hit her!) but NO tears! (If you look, you can see Dave and the boys out the window to the right eating cookies)
Happy 5th Birthday EVA!
Friday April 16th was Evy's 5th birthday. I can't believe our little girl is already five! Of course now She's soooo grown up. Well her super special fun birthday weekend started thursday after noon when she got a "beautiful" birthday card in the mail from Grandma and Grandpa Wilson in Utah. She was so happy about it that she slept with it all night. Then Friday morning she got to open a "birthday outfit" first thing in the morning so she felt very pretty. Then when Daddy got home from school we went to the mall and took her to the "girly" store (Claire's) and got her ear's pierced! She's been asking to get her ears "peer-ed" for about a year and we kept saying no. Then Thursday Dave came home and thought how fun it would be to take her there and surprise her for her birthday so thats what we did.She wanted to get the biggest adult sized diamond studs that they had but we talked her into the biggest kid-sized ones and they're pretty cute. She was so brave she didn't even cry! they did both ears at the same time and it really surprised her cuz it pinched a bit but no tears ( they were pretty close. . . see the pic) She loves them so much and has been showing them to everyone ( even random strangers in stores-- we are working on that one though)
After we did her ears we took her to dinner and of course she picked Pizza Hut ( I'm pretty sure this is the 3rd year in a row), after dinner we red boxed Chipmunk Adventure ( they didn't have any girlier cartoons) and went home and watched it as a family. She felt pretty special as she got calls from lots of aunts and uncles and grandparents, even Krista from Ecuador!
After the kids went to bed I finished making Tu-tu's and the castle cake for the BIG PARTY saturday afternoon. What a fun day and a beautiful sweet little princess. We love her so much and are so grateful she's part of our family!

Anniverary
Our 8th Anniversary was March 30th! Crazy how fast time flies. We got the blue ray of Sherlock Holmes and went to bed early on our actual anniversary night ( a tuesday), then on that Saturday night we had Dave's sweet niece Shaylee come babysit the kids and we went to Buddy's for dinner with our friends Paul and Tiffany Rimington (they have the same anniversary as us only they've been married nine years), and then we went and watched the "Bounty Hunter" at the theater. It was a great night and the first actual "date" we'd been on in years. We really enjoyed ourselves. I laughed really hard at the movie( and I think Dave was just laughing at me).
Earlier that day Dave had given me a reciept and said "Happy Anniversary"-- well that sneak went and bought us a camera! I have been sad that ours is kind of a dinosaur and that I can't get the quality of pic's I want of our kids. So he went and bought a flashy fancy NIKON camera so that I can now document every move our kids make( in style!). What a sweet heart. He's a good husband and I'm so glad that he's mine.

Early Morning DINOSAURS!
Beautiful Dancer!

My camera doesn't work great for these pics-- she's on the left of the center black line facing forward)
Bright eyed and bushy tailed at 7 am on a snowy saturday
HAPPY DINO! She had a big ow-wee under her eye and I tried to cover it with foundation but I think it just made it stick out more!
Eva had a dance competition in Idaho Falls on Saturday and Of course we had to be there at 7:15 am dressed and ready---- which meant on a good day we'd need to leave at 6:15. Well it snowed like crazy the night before and I left at 6 and drove 50 mph the whole way and we were late but so was everyone else (apparently) because they didn't even start the competiton until 9:15. I was a little frustrated and a lot tired. Oh well she had fun and afterwards we went to "Burger Queen" got crowns, visited TARGET and drove home. A pretty fun girly girl day. We didn't stay for the awards ceremony but Eva's group took 1st place in their division and won overall best costume. Cute. Good work EVA!
St. Patricks Day
DANCE COMPETITION!
The Dancing Dinosaurs Eva (with leg up wierd) and Lynzi B. her BFF.
Patient Jaxson bored out of his mind, counting the minutes til the MOVIE!
Sam B. (Lynzi's mom and our awesome neighbor) chilling with Brody B. and Sharkey Carter. Sam was brilliant and brought all sorts of snacks and things for the boys. ( all I brought was the dance stuff and my Camera)
The first competition this year was at Poky high about a month ago and Dave was out of town so I had to drag both the boys along! Poor kids! they were pretty bored, but they survived- we skipped out as soon as Eva danced and I took the kids to the Chipmunks Squeak-quel at the ISU sub theater with Bart and Rach and Family (the bribe saved the day).
Dave's Big 30!
Dave and his new best pal! See Carter in the background-- I hit an awesome sale at Smiths Powerade for twenty-five cents a piece!
Cute little golfing cake I made. I think it turned out not too bad. (only my second cake ever!) Dave thought it was funny that I made the Flag say thirty because golf courses only go to 18, He then said he would really like to golf this course!
Mattie

Mattie
March 20th was Dave's 30th birthday. We got our new "puppy" Mattie, in the morning then he went shooting with some friends in the afternoon and we had a fun little Bonfire and family BBQ in the evening. It was a fun day and a great way to start SPRING BREAK!
We used a bunch of stuff we had ripped out of our basement for the fire and it was huge, we're pretty sure that some of the stuff we burned contained lead based paint and stuff but we sure had a big black smokey fire. (we may all get cancer and die but it was fun)
