Cute Kiddos and More Teeth
Fun Great-Grandkids Christmas Party at Old-Papas house. My Grandpa is 90 years old and he is adorable. He called one night to invite us to this fun little great-cousins party at his house. He fed the kids pizza and soda and ice cream and played with them. It was super fun. THey love him soooo much!

All the great-grand-cousins (that live in town)
Jax is so silly! He sleep walks and we found him on the floor in our room, sleeping with Audi (the dog) like this one night. (Must have been cold!)
I came upstairs from changing the laundry one day and found Evy watching a movie like this! these kids are sooo funny! They come up with the silliest things. I'm sure proud to be their mama. I love all their quirky thought and ideas!
Sweet Baby asleep in the swing. I love the color red on Elena ( in case you couldn't tell) it looks so good with her dark skin/ hair. Love it! She's so pretty :)
Sharkey the pirate. Arg! he got all this fun stuff at a buddy's birthday party. He wore it for like three days straight-- even slept in it, he only took it off to bathe (and kind of against his will).
Jax chillin out

January
For new years my family all got together and had fun! We were so happy it was the first time that we have all been together in over a year (maybe even 18+ months) Nathan came home from Ukraine, Chewy and Adina came from Seattle, Krista came home from CSI and Elena came from Heaven. It was great we talked and laughed and played and ate!
The night before Bryan and Adina went back to Seattle we all went to Texas Roadhouse together but they don't have any conference type dining area so we all sat closeby in seperate booths. (Dad, Mom, Krista and Nathan)
The Wilsons and the Bart Call's
Pretty Elena started smiling :)
Eva and Lori in their matching outfits/earrings - so cute!
Jaxson cuddling with Millard (he is our good friends' cat and we are babysitting him until they close on their new home)
Eva lost her first tooth!Which is Crazy cuz she's only five (Dave, Jax and Mommy were all six+)
She came home from school and told me she had a loose tooth and I thought " oh okay. . . " then I wiggled it (just to appease her) and it WAS really loose! I took this picture because you can see how loose it was -- its the crookedy one in the center. It came out that very night and she was soooo proud.
Christmas and such. . .

Girls night out :)

We have been super busy and I have been absolutely terrible at updating this blog! The last few months have been big ones for our family. My baby brother Brandon got engaged just before Thanksgiving and they are getting married this Friday in the Rexburg temple. Then we celebrated Thanksgiving here in town with my family which was nice after having the baby ( I wasnt in the mood to travel much).
December 5th we blessed Elena. It was a beautiful day, we were blessed to have many family and friends come celebrate with us and it was wonderful. Dave gave her an amazing blessing and we are soooo very happy to have her special little spirit in our home. Dave's mom Korena made her a beautiful crocheted (sp?) blessing dress-ensemble complete with bonnet, shoes and a blanket. She is so very talented and has made an outfit for both our girls to be blessed in and they will be such special keepsakes for them both.
Dave had finals the following week and passed with flying colors! He graduated in the middle of December with his BS in Psychology. Hooray! We are so proud of him and all the countless hours he's put in. He has applied to ISU's Graduate School of Counseling and we hope to hear if he's been accepted to that program in mid-April. The night of his last final we celebrated! The kids decorated the house with streamers and balloons and we made him an orange sign that read "congrats dad the grad!" We had his favorite enchiladas for dinner and butterscotch cheesecake for dessert. Then we spent the night playing board games as a family. It was really a great night!
That weekend the girls and Iwent to the Nutcracker with Aunt Jen, Mommers, Papa Call and Savanah. It was super fun! The baby was perfect! She slept the entire time, and Eva loved every minute of it- I'm not sure if she even remembered to breathe. She's sooo excited that next year she will be old enough to audition to be in it:)
The week before Christmas we made a darling gingerbread house and the kids had their Christmas concerts and parties at school. We were really busy but doing well and then we found out that baby Elena has an umbilical hernia and she was having some troubles with digestion and constipation. It is so ugly and just looked so uncomfortable! She was so patient and good natured about it but was just miserable. They had her on laxative and fiber treatments and hot lavender baths and snake oils and massages and they said it could take up to twelve months to heal and may require surgery if it doesnt heal. (I can't find a picture of it:( but trust me it was disgusting) She is doing really well now and has another appointment in two weeks to check it but I'm fairly certain it's healing well and rarely bothers her any more.
We Spent Christmas with Dave's parents in Island Park Idaho. We had a very lovely time and enjoyed lots of good food and snow! ( I'll have to do another post for that)

All things Lightning!
Carter turned three on sunday and he had himself an awesome "cars" birthday- with the exception of the cake. We took him to pick out a cake at the store fully expecting a lightning mcqueen cake and came home with a spiderman cake. Funny boy. Everything else he got revolved around the Disney movie cars because it is his latest most enduring infatuation. He carries his "Yite-ning" and mater toys everywhere we go. He even sleeps with them-- we know he's totally asleep when we hear one of them fall out of his hand and hit the floor. He is quite the boy! We are so blessed and grateful to have him be part of our family. Carter is a peacemaker and always very sensitive to the needs and feelings of others. Lately he tells everyone "you're the best __________ ever and I yuv (love) you!" and he means every word it. I love it when he tells me I'm "the best mommy ever and I yuv you" It makes my day! What a sweet wonderful spirit he has! We love him soooo much:)
